For Massachusetts residents only, who are of Armenian descent or are pursuing Armenian studies at the collegiate level.
The Award
- One year scholarship of up to $10,000 to cover tuition, fees and educational expenses at a four-year college or university or a post-graduate program of any length in the U.S.
- Scholarship amounts will be determined based on the financial aid and need of each student. Scholarships will be paid to the college/university the student attends.
- Scholarship recipients are invited to re-apply for the scholarship in subsequent years provided they meet the eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must either be high school, undergraduate or graduate students who are either:
- of Armenian descent, OR
- pursuing Armenian studies at the college/university level
- Be a U.S. citizen or non-citizen eligible to apply for FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) AND a permanent resident of Massachusetts.
- Enrolling as a full-time student in a four-year undergraduate college/university or graduate degree program of any length in 2025-26. The college/university must be a U.S. accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university.
- Financial need will be taken into consideration in determining who receives the scholarship and its amount.
- Have a strong high school academic record with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent); involvement in community, school and work activities; and motivation to excel in school.
