The Santos Family Scholarship

The Santos Family Scholarship, created in memory of Joseph and Joan Santos, seeks to open the door to post-secondary education opportunities for first generation college students who are immigrants or children of immigrants. This program is designed to help students from Brockton High School in Brockton, Massachusetts attend and graduate from post-secondary institutions, including two-year schools and four-year schools. The program serves first-generation college students who have a desire to attain a degree at a school that is affordable to them and graduate with a manageable loan burden.

If accepted, students receive scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $12,000 renewable for up to four years. The scholarship is funded by The Santos Family Scholarship and administered by The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI).
