Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships
Jen Montone is a marketing and philanthropy strategist who has spent more than two decades helping mission-driven organizations find and amplify their voice. At TPI, she leads marketing, communications, and branding efforts to advance the firm’s mission and build awareness of its consulting services and thought leadership in strategic philanthropy, while also driving business development through client and prospect management and professional advisor relations.
Jen also works directly with TPI clients on strategic planning, project management, family facilitation, and communications strategy. She is particularly passionate about storytelling and harnessing the power of communications to deepen donor engagement and drive meaningful impact. As a 21/64 certified advisor, she supports individual donors and families in aligning resources with their values and purpose – and to find joy in giving.
Before joining TPI, Jen built her expertise across nonprofit, social impact, and arts organizations — including the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health, the San Francisco Symphony, and Edible Boston magazine — developing the integrated marketing, communications, and philanthropy skills she brings to TPI and its clients every day.
Jen holds a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Santa Clara University, as well as a Master of Liberal Arts in Gastronomy and a Certificate in the Culinary Arts from Boston University — a passion that reflects the same love of storytelling and culture that shapes her communications work.
