Remmer to moderate at COF on Community Foundation Global Giving
TPI President Ellen Remmer will moderate Tuesday, September 14th at the COF Fall Conference for Community Foundations. The session will focus on preliminary findings from the Community Foundation Global Giving Initiative, a consortium of community foundations exploring the potential benefits of a central resource to assist community foundations with giving to non-U.S. NGOs and with international grantmaking.

The article provides details on the Giving Pledge, a recent call to action from Warren Buffett and Bill and Melinda Gates to the wealthiest individuals and families thorughout the country. The pledge encourages the richest Americans to give half of their earnings to charity.
